Material Composition:

Steel Backing: Provides structural strength.

Porous Bronze Layer: Acts as a substrate for the PTFE layer。

Standard: DIN 4379, ISO 4379, or custom specifications.

Temperature Range: -200°C to +280°C (-328°F to +536°F)

Load Capacity: Up to 140 MPa (static), 70 MPa (dynamic)

Hydraulic Cylinder DU Bushing Description

DU bushing is a type of self-lubricating bearing commonly used in hydraulic cylinders. It is designed to reduce friction and wear between moving parts, ensuring smooth operation and extending the lifespan of the cylinder. The “DU” in its name refers to the material composition, which typically includes a steel backing, a porous bronze layer, and a PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) or polymer-based lining.

Features of DU Bushings:

  1. Self-Lubricating: The PTFE or polymer layer provides a low-friction surface, eliminating the need for external lubrication.
  2. High Load Capacity: The steel backing provides strength and durability, allowing the bushing to handle heavy loads.
  3. Corrosion Resistance: The materials used are resistant to corrosion, making them suitable for harsh environments.
  4. Low Maintenance: Due to their self-lubricating properties, DU bushings require minimal maintenance.
  5. Wear Resistance: The PTFE layer reduces wear on both the bushing and the mating surface, ensuring long-term performance.

DU Bushing Applications in Hydraulic Cylinders:

  • Piston Rod Support: DU bushings are often used to support the piston rod, ensuring smooth movement and reducing side loads.
  • Wear Rings: They can also act as wear rings, protecting the cylinder barrel and piston from direct contact and wear.
  • Guiding Elements: DU bushings help guide the piston and rod assembly, maintaining alignment and preventing misalignment issues.
